Paul VanSlyke Obituary

Paul E. VanSlyke, 60, of Oil City, PA.  (Henry’s Bend) passed away Thursday April 25, 2024 at his home after an extended illness.

                Born July 30, 1963 in Meadville, PA., he was the son of Mary Kay Erich Beers and the late Paul H. VanSlyke.

Paul was a graduate of Cranberry High School.

He was married on Sept. 18, 2010 to the former Jill E. Carbaugh and she survives.

Paul had worked as a mechanic for Cranberry Twp. , for many years.

He enjoyed hunting,  and working with boats and cars  (anything mechanical).

Paul also  enjoyed tinkering around and had several inventions.

He loved Henry’s Bend and enjoyed helping his fellow neighbors and his infectious laugh will be missed by many.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother and step father.

He is also survived by an uncle

Regina Brown and her husband John of FL.

Lucy Courson of Meadville

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

The Reinsel Funeral Home Is in charge of the arrangements.
