Pearl Elizabeth “Pete” Jackson, 94, of Oil City, PA., went to be with the Lord Monday April 8, 2024 at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca.
Born Dec. 23, 1929 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Russell C. and Alta Williams Brumbaugh.
Pearl was a graduate of Oil City High School and was one of five gun and flag twirlers.
Being the first, Pearl worked jobs for her father at the Bridge Lunch Restaurant, and had also worked at Pizza Villa and Nelson’s Candy Store.
She married Theodore H. “Ted” Jackson on March 4, 1950 in the Calvary United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2017. They celebrated 67 years together.
Pete had sold home interiors for many years.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church for over 43 years, and worked on committees and projects for education and the construction of the elevator.
Pearl Enjoyed spending time with her immediate family and her church family as well as her dog Cocoa.
She is survived by two children

Sherry Lynn Thoms (McClellan) of FL.

Three grandchildren
Ashley Egan, Kiel Jackson and Shannon Lee Pettit

She is also survived by sisters

Mary Lou Karns of Oil City

Jenny Brumbaugh of Oil City
And by many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by special friends Carol Meyer, Pam Walker, Brian & Tony Redfield.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Jordan Arthur Jackson

There will be no viewing or visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church or to the Venango County Humane Society.
