Barbara A. Kapp, 81, of Oil City, PA. , died Friday Nov. 8, 2019 and went to be with her Lord.
Born April 19, 1938 in Greenville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Robert Clark & Lois I Bennett Brooks.
Barbara was a graduate of Oil City High School.
She was married on June 17, 1955 in Shippenville to Edward L. Kapp and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Barbara had worked as the head cook at the Oil City Presbyterian Home before retiring.
Barbara affectionately known as “Benny” to her family, will be remembered for being a great baker, and one who enjoyed spending time with family.
She enjoyed going to the Kapp reunions, dinners at Red Lobster and family vacations.
She also enjoyed yard sales, reading and shopping.
She attended the Oil City Community Alliance Church.
Barbara is survived by four children

Timothy A. Kapp & his wife Jeannie of Seneca
Beth A. Hazlett & her husband Wayne of Oil City
a daughter-in-law
Tangy Kapp of Seneca
14 grandchildren
Matthew, Stephanie, Derek, Andrew, Ryan, Krista, Kara
Christopher, Adam, Brandon, Noah, Hannah, Natalie and Sidney
18 great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son David S. Kapp and her brother Frederick Clark.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Nov. 16 at 2:00 P.M. in the Reinsel Funeral Home with Fran Nesta, presiding.
Interment will be in Venus Cemetery.
