Charlotte B. Schettler, 96, formerly of Oil City died at 11:20 P.M.
Wednesday Feb. 14, 2018 at Aurora Manor in Aurora Ohio.
Born May 5, 1921 in Townville, PA., she was the daughter of the late George & Augusta Smith Carpenter.
Charlotte was married on Aug. 5, 1942 to Robert E. Schettler and he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1995.
While living in Oil City, Mrs. Schettler was a member of St. Stephen's Church. She was also member and former President
of the Belles Lettres Club.
She was actively involved with Meals on Wheels while in Oil City.
She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and doing jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by four children

Mary E. Schettler of Corrales, NM
Martha A. Schettler of Hiram, OH
Matthew E. Schettler & his wife Linda of Stretsboro, OH
a grandson
Jacob Schettler
and a sister-in-law
Patricia Schettler of Oil City
as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers
George Carpenter and Bob Carpenter
and
two sisters
Helen Shreve, Lois Gamble
Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Friday in the Reinsel Funeral Home and again from 10:00A.M.-12 Noon on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday in the Funeral Home with Fr. John Miller, Presiding.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
