David P. Allen, 62, of 151 Plum Street, Oil City, PA., died unexpectedly at 3:05 P.M. on Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Emergency Room at UPMC Northwest.
Born March 25, 1955 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Perry H. Allen & Patricia Evans Allen.
He was a graduate of Oil City High School.
David was enjoying his retirement as a welder from Joy Manufacturing. He was a thoughtful, loving & caring man who would always lend a helping hand. He loved the outdoors, hunting & fishing. An avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates & Penguins.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Allen & grandson, John David Allen of Tucson, AZ.
He is also survived by three brothers Thomas Allen & his wife Cindy of Emlenton, Mark Allen & his wife Missy of Tionesta, Joseph Allen & his wife Sheila of Venus
And a sister , Chris Allen of Oil City, a sister-in-law Deborah Allen of Oil City as well as several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & brother, Steven Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 1:00 P.M. in the Reinsel Funeral Home, with Rev. John Miller presiding.
