Della (Williams) DeArment

June 28, 1932 ~ October 8, 2018 (age 86)

Della DeArment, 86 , formerly of Grandview Rd. Oil City, PA. passed away Monday Oct. 8, 2018 at the Caring Place in Franklin after an extended illness. Della had lived with Parkinson's Disease for 24 years.

Born June 28, 1932 at home in Greenville, PA. , she was the daughter of the late Milford Wayne Williams & Nora Grace Greenlee Williams.

Della graduated from Pymatuning Junior Joint High School in Jamestown, PA. In 1951.

On March 22, 1952 she married Lester E. DeArment in Sheakleyville and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2010.

Della had worked for Beverly Farms Dairy in Greenville and as a cleaning lady for several local families. In 1994 she retired from the Oil City Area School District where she was employed as a custodian for 26 years.

Della enjoyed gardening, canning and baking.

She also enjoyed fishing with her family, but most loved the time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She attended the Oil City Wesleyan Methodist Church for 50 years and had also attended the Franklin Missionary Alliance Church.

She will be specially remembered by her grandchildren for her homemade gravy.

She is survived by two daughters

Debra Desko & her husband Bob of Polk

four grandchildren

Andrew, Kenny, Jacob and Eddie

and by two great grandchildren

Kaeden and Maevlyn

She is also survived by a brother

Fred Williams & his wife Janice of Atlantic, PA.

A sister

Sarah Mowrey of Hilliard, FL

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by

an infant daughter Dianna

a son-in-law

two sisters

Dorothy Reaugh and Lela Davis

and by two brothers

Merlin & Courtney Williams

Friends will be received from 1:00P.M.-4:00 P.M.Wednesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Giles, presiding.

Interment will be in Shaw Farm Cemetery.

The Family sends many thanks to Asera Care Hospice and the Caring Place staff for the quality of care Della received in her transition into heaven.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oil City Wesleyan Church or to the Franklin Missionary Alliance Church.
