Dolores K.athleen (Yashinski) Struss

Dolores K. Struss, 97, a resident of Sugarcreek Station and formerly of Oil City died at 8:45 A.M. Tuesday March 13, 2018 after an extended illness.

Born Oct. 31, 1920 in Oil City, PA., Dolores was the daughter of the late Anthony & Edith Anthony Yashinski.

She was a 1940 Graduate of Oil City High School.

She married on Jan. 29, 1943 in St. Joseph Church by Fr. P.A. Lynch to James P. Struss and he preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1998.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by three sisters

Mary Lou Gutowski & her husband Ray

Dorothy Belfiore & her husband Honey

Cecelia Miller

and a brother

Anthony “Tony” Yashinski & his wife Marguerite.

She is survived by a great niece and great nephew Nicole and Curtis Master.

Committal Services will be held on Friday in Calvary Cemetery with Fr. John Miller, Presiding.
