Donna J. Swacha, 82, of 209 Park Avenue Oil City, PA. , died at 2:29 A.M. Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Oakwood Heights in Oil City after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 21, 1935 in Oil City, PA., she was the oldest of eight children to the late James & Mary Goggins Edwards.
Donna was a 1954 graduate of Oil City High School.
She had been a waitress at Chacona's for many years and later worked as a nurses aide at the former Grandview Healthcare.
Donna was a member of St. Joseph Church and enjoyed working at the annual church festival every year.
She enjoyed going to the activities that her children were involved in and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed class of 1954 lunch bunch, taking trips to the casino and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates Fan.
She is survived by four children

She is also survived by two sisters
Mary Albaugh of Oil City
Kathy Lindsey & her husband Fred of Oil City
a brother
Bill Edwards of Seneca
as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers
James, Michael and Robert Edwards and a sister Evelyn Clark
Donna was also preceded in death by a good friend Regis Weaver.
Friends will be received from 4- 8 P.M. Friday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in St. Joseph Church with Fr. John Miller, Presiding.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
