Dorothy A. Wolbert, 93, of Oil City passed away Tuesday June 25, 2019 at Oakwood Heights Nursing Home.
She was born July 27, 1925 in Titusville, PA. and was the daughter of the late Henry and Mabel Wright Pierce.
She went to Titusville schools.
Dorothy was married to Robert Lee Wolbert on June 30, 1945 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2007.
Dorothy was a talented seamstress and enjoyed playing bridge and canning foods.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
Dorothy is survived by 5 children; Diana Wurster and husband Ronald of Oil City, Vicki Grzasko and husband Martin of Fairview, Susan Faunce and husband David of Shippenville, Timothy Wolbert and wife Aldin of Meadville, and Robert Wolbert and wife Tina of Oil City
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings; twin Donald Pierce, Ward (Harry) Pierce, Randall Pierce, Frances Burke, and Marion Slater.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon – 3:00 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Ian McElrath, Presiding.
Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
