Dyann Carroll Obituary

Dyann Elizabeth “Best” Carroll , 50, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly on June 11, 2018.

Born in Oil City, PA., on Dec. 6, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Mary “Jane” Stewart Best and Herald “Bill” Best.

Dyann graduated from Venango Christian High School in 1985.

Following graduation, she attended Clarion State College where she earned her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.

She began to work for the IU after graduation. After a short time, she began working for various agencies and nursing homes in the Pittsburgh Area.

She presently was employed by UPMC Senior Living in Pittsburgh.

Dyann was of the Catholic Faith.

She enjoyed attending concerts with her friends, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins Fan.

Dyann had a special love for animals, especially her cats. She will be surely missed.

She is survived by her sister, Lynda Chrisner of Pittsburgh

her brothers,

Tom (Rhonda) Best of Cooperstown

Joe (Mary Beth) Best of Silver Springs, MD

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Her special friends include Delena Brinkley, Michelle Rankin, Sandy Sutch and Phil, Debbie, Kristy and Brian Hahn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Anne.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Interment will be inCalvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Venango County Humane Society, Venango Catholic High School or to a charity of one's choice.
