Elizabeth J. (Clyde) Slater

Elizabeth J. Slater, 90, of Franklin, PA. died Sunday Aug. 11, 2019 at the Caring Place in Franklin.

          Born June 28, 1929 in Franklin, PA. , she was the daughter of the late Robert & Bessie Beck Clyde.

 Elizabeth was married on New Years’ Eve. 1949 to Howard E. Slater, who preceded her in death on March 26, 2019.

This year they would have celebrated their 70th Anniversary.

Elizabeth was a very special woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile.

A Homemaker, Elizabeth enjoyed caring for her family, was an excellent cook and enjoyed puzzles.

She and her late husband Howard were the proud parents of six children

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

She is also survived by a brother William Clyde of Titusville

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Joseph Slater and by two brothers

Robert Clyde and Wayne Clyde

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M. Thursday  in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday in the Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Stouffer, Caring Place Chaplain Presiding.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
