Frances (Bruno) Rodgers

Frances (Frannie) Bruno Rodgers ,90, of 5 Summit St. Oil City, PA. , died at 10:35 A.M. Wednesday Nov. 15, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.

Born May 4, 1927 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Salvatore & Anna Puleo Bruno.

Frances was a member of St. Stephen's Church and the Rosary Society at the church, and also prepared funeral dinners for many years.

She was a talented seamstress and worked out of her home.

She was a graduate of Oil City High School.

Frances was married on August 5, 1946 to George H. Rodgers and he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2008.

She is survived by seven children

Denise Hamilton & her husband Larry of Tucson, AZ

Jon R. Rodgers & his wife Louise of Oil City

Mary Frances Bechtel of NC

Helen Jane Rodgers of NC

as well as 3 step grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren.

She is survived by one sister

Angela Prather of Franklin

and many nieces and nephews, especially Anna Spence Loll

She is also survived by a close friend Maggie McMahon

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son

and by 8 sisters

Virginia Bruno, Sally McDonald, Stephanie Spence, Mary McMahon

Nena Parker, Rose Petulla, Josephine Kulinski and Bessie Puleo

Friends will be received from 4-8 P.M.Friday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon Saturday in St. Stephen's Church with Fr. John Miller Presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Rodgers Family.
