John lived a full and happy life filled with exciting stories and adventures.
He lived in many places but always called Oil City his home.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the United States Postal Service.
John was an amazing father, his family meant everything to him, He loved laughing and joking and if you asked him he was perfect in every way.
He enjoyed playing “Zonk” with family and friends, listening to music, pogo games, animals, reading and relaxing.
In earlier years mischief with his late friend Bill.
John overcame many obstacles and hardships from his youth,. He dreamt of a happier time, an easier life for his family, “Howdy Doody Time”. He loved his daughters more than anything, and wanted them to be happy. He was so proud of them. He was very kind, loving and caring. He had a very unique sense of humor and personality.
Anyone who knew him or the family, knew that. He will be missed dearly by those who had the privilege to know him.
Someday I’ll wish upon a star, and wake up where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like Lemon drops, away above the chimney tops. That’s where you’ll find me. Somehwere over the rainbow bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow Why then, Oh Why Can’t I.
In his words “You can kiss this Butts goodbye.”
