John Edward Staub

John Edward Staub, 58, of 151 Crawford St., Oil City, passed away at Pittsburgh Shadyside Nursing Facility Sunday, March 4, 2018 after a period of declining health.

Born December 28, 1959, in Oil City, he was the son of the late Edward and Peggy Ann Rapp Staub.

John graduated from the Oil City High School.

He worked many years for Magdovitz, Stublers, and Cranberry Beverage distributors.

He enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, golfing, working on cars, and tending to his garden. He played in the Dempseytown Softball League, and also many other leagues around the area.

John is survived by two children and their spouses; daughter Amy Hutson and husband Thomas of Lexington Park, MD, and son Jonathan Staub and wife April of New Port Richie, FL..  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are sisters Lisa Lynch & her husband Marty, Crystal Allen, step sister Paula Davis, and a brother Tim Staub Sr. and his wife Dorothy..

He was  preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday March 6. in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Wednesday at 10 A.M. in St. Venantius Church in Rouseville with Fr. Joseph Czarkowski, Presiding.

Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum.
