Lawrence E. Smith, 58, of Rouseville, PA. passed away Thursday April 26, 2018 at the Oil Creek Campground.
Born Jan. 10, 1960 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Edward F. Smith & Mary Kathryn Elder Smith.
Larry was a graduate of Venango Christian High School.
He had served 6 years in the United States Navy and then served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for over 20 years.
Larry was married on June 27, 1987 to the former Patti J. Dehner and she survives.
He was currently working for SCI-Forest as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Larry was of the Catholic Faith.
A member of the N.R.A., Larry enjoyed hunting with his muzzleloader.
He loved the outdoors and camping, and the companionship of his Lab Gunther.
He enjoyed historical reenactments.
Larry had been an EMT with the Rouseville Volunteer Fire Dept.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a a nephew Gregory Brown
Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Monday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Barnes, Presiding.
Interment with Full Military Honors accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard will follow in Rynd Farm Cemetery.
