Margaret A. (Dolphin) Klosinski

Margaret Ann (Dolphin) Klosinski, 86, of Erie and formerly of Oil City, passed away
peacefully at 10:07 PM. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her home in the company of her
family and surrounded by love. Born August 23, 1932 in Oil City, PA, she was the
daughter of the late John Thomas and Germaine (Lynam) Dolphin. She was a lifelong
resident of Oil City, most recently residing on Innis Street, until 2011 when she relocated
to Erie, PA.
Margaret, a 1950 graduate of St. Joseph High School, married Joseph S. Klosinski on
November 21, 1964. She worked for nearly 20 years at Oil Well Supply Company before
retiring to raise her family. She was a member of St. Stephen Church, an active
volunteer at St. Stephen School and Venango Christian High School, and a member of
the Catholics Daughters of America and the Rosary Society. She also served as a
volunteer at the polls on election day for many years and was an active resident of the
Niagara Village retirement community where she resided.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by two
brothers, John (“Jack”) and Thomas J. Dolphin, and two sisters, Mary and Helen Marie
Dolphin. She is survived by her four daughters and six grandchildren: JoAnne and Greg
Wagner of Sewickley, PA, and their children Halle and Alex; Karen Butts and Eric
Rogers of Erie, PA, and her daughter Ashley; Jean and Paul Murray of Sunderland, MD,
and their sons Aidan, Liam, and Kellan; and Sue Suleski of Harrisburg, PA; 10 nieces
and nephews: John Dolphin, Jim Dolphin, Anne (Dolphin) Sheridan; Robert Garbacz,
Gregory Garback, Michael Watson, Connie (Eisenman) Sullivan, Dan Eisenman, Brian
Eisenman, and Jane (Eisenman) Archer; and extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Church, 21 State Street, Oil
City, PA on  Saturday Nov 24 at 11:00 AM with
Rev. John Miller, III
presiding. The family will receive friends at
the church immediately prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Calvary
Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.reinselfuneralhome.com. In lieu of
flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations in Margaret’s honor be made to
Venango Catholic High School, 1505 West 1st St, Oil City, PA 16301.
