Michael Allen Davis

Michael A. Davis, 67, of 13 Hiland Ave. Oil City, PA. died at 8:20 A.M. Tuesday Nov. 28 at his home following an extended illness.

Born July 13, 1950 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Herbert E. Davis & Dorothy A. Reichart Davis.

Mike was a 1970 graduate of Oil City High School.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam war. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Korea and Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.

He was married on. Oct. 3, 1970 in St. Stephen's Church to the former Toni L. Gatesman and she survives.

Mike started working at Oilwell Supply, worked for Metlife for 17 years and continued on as an independent insurance agent for many years.

He was a member of St. Stephen's Church and the VFW.

Mike enjoyed golfing, casino trips and playing cards.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters

Mariah Treiber, Jessee Treiber and Emmeline Girt.

He is also survived by a brother

Herb Davis & his wife Kathy of Columbus, OH

and many nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Davis and a half sister Lisa Davis

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 7-9 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M.Friday in St. Stephen's Church with Fr. John Miller , Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.
