Patricia M. Burchfield, 78, of 186 Julius Dr. Oil City, died at 6:57 P.M. Thursday Jan. 14, 2016 at the Transitional Care Unit in Meadville after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 27, 1937 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Beatrice Redmond Poulson.
Pat was a graduate of Oil City High School.
Mrs. Burchfield had worked many years for First Seneca Bank before moving to Garland, TX in 1979.
In Texas, Pat was the Assistant Vice President in Human Resources for First National Bank of Garland.
She then moved to Houston, Texas where she served as Vice President of Human Resources for the Bank of Harris County.
Pat returned to Dallas in 1983 and was a Clerical Operations Officer for Cal Fed. Credit in Santa Barbara, CA., she was responsible for all offices in Denver, CO., Phoenix and Tucson AZ., and the offices in San Antonio, El Paso and Houston, TX.
Pat and Tom had lived 17 years in Texas before retiring and moving back to Oil City.
At the time of her death, Pat was Township Secretary for President Township and prior to that she was Township secretary for Tionesta.
She was married on April 27, 1956 to Thomas E. Burchfield and he survives.
She is also survived by her nephews

Friends will be received from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday Jan 23 in the First Presbyterian Church in Oil City.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. in the Church with Rev. Ronee Christy, Pastor, Presiding.
