Richard E. Prahl, 77, of 7 East Second St. Oil City, PA. died Friday April 6, 2018 after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 31, 1940 in Braddock, PA., he was the son of the late Paul E. & Dorothy Rae Whitehair Prahl.
Richard was a graduate of Gateway High School.
Mr. Prahl had served in the Navy Reserves.
He had worked at Westinghouse, Joy Mfg. and was a handyman and had painted and remodeled many homes in the Oil City area.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and walking his dog, was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and WWE wrestling.
He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs Nacho and Diego.
He is survived by four daughters

Ginny Kuhls & her husband Murf of Oil City
Bobbi Maul & her husband Lance of Oil City
Michael-Shannon Prahl & her significant other Scott Reed of Oil City
His grandchildren
Jennifer, Cody, Emily, Jacob, Tyscen and Darcie
And a great grandson David

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a special friend Mimi.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Prahl.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. in the Reinsel Funeral Home with Deacon Dick Reed, Presiding.
