Robert D. Toy

Robert D. Toy, 85, of Oil City, PA. , died Saturday Nov. 23, 2019 at 4:36 P.M. at Sugar Creek Station after an extended illness.

Born Feb. 26, 1934 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Lester A.”Mike” Toy & Mary Mitchum Toy.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army.

He had worked many years for the Foster Forbes Glass Plant.

Mr. Toy was married on May 5, 1955 to the former Rita Mae Cherry and she survives.

Bob was a member of St. Venantius Church.

He was also a member of the Eagles, VFW, Pulaski, PNA Club and the Moose.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son

Daniel R. Toy & his wife Cynthia of Oil City

and a daughter

Debra Oakes of Oil City

7 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.

He is also survived by one brother

Richard Toy of CA.

Mr. Toy was preceded in death by a son Stephen Toy and by two brothers Allen “Guff” Toy and Jack Toy.

Friends will be received from 2:00P.M.-4:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesdai in the funeral home with Fr. John Miller, Presiding.

Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.
