Salvatore J. “Sam” Sunseri, 89, of 401 Main St. Rouseville, PA. died at 8:55 A.M. Sunday Sept. 9, 2018 at Oil City Healthcare.
Born Feb. 9, 1929 in Franklin, PA., he was the son of the late Salvatore J. & Rosalia Leta Sunseri.
Sam was a graduate of Oil City High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
On Nov. 11, 1950, he was married by the late Rev. Joseph Pol to the former Regina “Toby” Malys and she survives.
Sam had worked for over forty years for Pennzoil where he managed the printshop.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and was a former member of St. Venantius Church.
He had also belonged to the Oil City Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed wintering in Florida and camping and was a “Car Enthusiast”.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters
Deborah R. Sunseri of Rouseville and her fiancé David Jarzab
Sally A. Sunseri & her husband Jim Pfendler of Erie
He is also survived by one sister
Frances Budzinski of Campbell, CA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in St. Venantius Church with Fr. John Miller Presiding.
Interment with Full Military Honors will be accorded by the V.E.T.S.Honor Guard. In Calvary Cemetery
Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Church Second Century Fund.
