Steven J. Allen

Steven J. Allen, 60, of 1 Forest Place, Oil City, PA. , died at 6:45 A.M. Thursday Sept. 21, 2017 at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville after an extended illness.

Born March 17, 1957 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Perry H. Allen & Patricia Evans Allen.

Steven was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He was married on July 4, 1977 in St. Venantius Church in Rouseville to the former Deborah L. Kutchravy and she survives.

Steven was employed as an electrician at Joy Manufacturing until ill health forced him to retire.

Mr. Allen was of the Catholic Faith.

Steven was a fun loving guy and free spirited and had a strong work ethic.

He was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

He is survived by two sons

James Steven Allen of Oil City

Joshua P. Allen of Oil City

a granddaughter

Paige

He is also survived by four brothers and a sister.

Thomas Allen & his wife Cindy of Emlenton

David Allen of Oil City

Mark Allen & his wife Missy of Tionesta

Chris Allen of Oil City

Joseph Allen & his wife Sheila of Venus

several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M..  in the funeral home with Rev. John Miller presiding.
