Theophila A. “Tillie” Hudick, 90, formerly of Edgewood Dr. Franklin, PA. , died at 4:55 P.M. Friday April 27, 2018 at the Caring Place in Franklin after an extended illness.
Born Jan.. 26, 1928 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late John & Catherine Andres Magdziarz, her father died while she was an infant and she was raised by Frank Pokoj.
Tillie attended Assumption B.V.M. Schools and was a 1946 graduate of Oil City High School.
She worked at the Oil City Variety store and later as an RSA at Polk Center from where she retired.
In 1976 she was married at St. Casmir's Church by the late Rev. Kacprowicz to Michael G. Hudick and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2008.
Tille was a member of both the Assumption B.V.M. Church and St. Patrick's Church in Franklin. She was very proud of her Polish Heritage and volunteered at many of the churches gatherings and bazaars, as well as for Venango Christian High School at their annual Roast Beef Dinner. Tillie was often called “Ticket Tillie”, because she was always willing to sell tickets to help out a good cause.
She was a life member of the Polish National Alliance as well as the Polish Womens Alliance.
She is survived by a nephew

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
her sister Lottie Kotsol, and two brothers Felix and Richard Pokoj and a niece Mary Catherine Kotsol
Friends will be received from 12:00 P.M.-1:30 P.M. Tuesday in the Assumption B.V.M. Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 P.M. in the Church with Fr. John Miler and Fr. Robert Manning, Concelebrating.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St Patrick's School or to Venango Catholic High School.
