Thomas L. Wood, 82, of Oil City, PA. ,died Sunday Nov. 18, 2018 in the ER at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca.
Born Feb. 27, 1936 in Polk, PA., he was the oldest son of eight children born to the late George & Edith Jones Wood.
Tom was a 1954 graduate of Franklin High School. He lived in Albuquerque, NM from 1955 until 1959. He entered the military in 1959 and served until 1961. Tom returned to New Mexico and stayed until 1964 when he came back to Pennsylvania.
Tom was first married to Mary Ellen Webster with whom he had three daughters Melissa Dasher & her husband Ken of Salisbury, MD
Michele Carson and her husband Wesley of Grove City
Marcia Gallagher & her husband Bill of Flagstaff, AZ and
one son
Thomas Wood & his wife Betty of Erie.

On Dec. 29, 1998 he married the former Beverly Dykins and she survives.
Tom retired after 28 ½ years working in the warehouse at Joy Manufacturing.
He was a member of the Oil City Moose, Eagles and the V.F.W.
and was a past member of the Rainbow Sportsman Club and Myrtle Lodge 316 F& AM of Franklin.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping at Kibbe's Island and woodworking, he also enjoyed gardening with his two special granddaughters Ashlyn & Chloe Nelson, who were also his workshop helpers.

He was preceded in death by sisters Debra Rockwell and Dorothy Wood and son-in-law Ron Nelson.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Interment will be in Rynd Farm Cemetery.
The Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
