William J. “Bill” Barris, 78, of 942 Grandview Rd. Oil City, died at 6:23 A.M. Sunday Oct. 20, 2019 after an extended illness.
Born June 19, 1941 in Center Twp, PA., he was the son of the late Wayne & Virginia Swauger Barris.
Bill had resided in the Oil City Area most of his life.
Bill was married on Oct. 23, 2015 at the train station in Titusville to the former Frances Brown and she survives.
He enjoyed all things associated with trains.
Bill enjoyed going on trips with his wife, spending time with friends from UCIP and spending time and sharing activities with his housemate.

Friends will be received from 2-4 Wednesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. T. Christopher Hill, Pastor of the Crossing Church, Presiding.
Interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery in Harborcreek.
