William C. Becker

William C. Becker, 86, of Oil City passed away at 8:15 PM Tuesday August 6, 2019 at The Grove at New Wilmington after declining period of health.

Born September 29, 1932 in Oil City, he was the son of the late I. Frank and Winona Becker.

He graduated from the Oil City High School in 1951, and then entered into the Army.

William married the former Shirley A. Hopper July 21, 1956 whom preceded him in death in 2009.

He worked as a mechanic for Penelec.

William is survived by one son; William F. Becker. of Florida. Also surviving are grandchildren Tasha and Kaity; Great Grandchildren Aspen, Sam and Blake; Sisters Phyllis Davis and Mary Brosius; Brother in-law John Stiller and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his daughters; Margaret Mellon, and Faye Proctor, and grandson James T. Proctor.

Friends will be received briefly before the service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday August 13, 2019  in the Reinsel Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Tygert Presiding.

The Reinsel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
