William R. Marsh, 70, of Oil City passed away Monday April 22, 2019 after an extended illness at Sugar Creek Station.
He was born in Oil City on February 15,1949 and was the son of the late William M. and Ila Mae Archer Marsh.
William graduated from the Oil City High School.
He worked as and Instrument Technician for Merisol.
William was an avid Steelers fan, and enjoyed ford mustangs, fishing, hunting, and spending time with the grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Faye Marsh; and his 4 children; William C. Marsh of Cranberry Twp., Barry A. Marsh of Georgia, Jason R. Marsh and wife Tiffany of Oil City, and Bryan E. Marsh of Oil City; Grandchildren; Ryan, Owen, Dylan, Jason Jr., Makayla, Christopher, Caitlyn, and Carlton.
Also surviving is a brother Dennis Marsh and wife Leslie of N.C. and a sister Joyce Snyder.
Preceding William in death is his parents William and Ila Marsh and an infant sister.
Friends will be received from 4 – 7 P.M. Friday April 26 in the Reinsel Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Rusnak presiding.
Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Saturday in the Funeral Home
Interment will be at Rynd Farm Cemetery.
Memorials may be made towards the Alzheimer’s foundation of America.
