Alberta M. Kennemuth, 88 , formerly of Seneca, passed away at 6:55 P.M. Thursday Jan. 30, 2025 at Oakwood Heights after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 21, 1936 in Bradford, PA., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Richards Bullers.
Alberta was a graduate of Bradford High School.
She was married on Sept. 2, 1955 to John W. “Jack” Kennemuth and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2013.
Alberta worked as an insurance agent for many years and had worked at Barr’s Insurance, Russ Black Insurance and for David McVay Insurance.
She enjoyed needlework, doing Sudoku puzzles and attending family gatherings.
The Kennemuth’s operated Jack’s Cheese Shack on Route 322 in Cranberry for many years.
Alberta was a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children and their spouses
Scott Kennemuth and his wife Nyla of Florida
Kelley Holden and her husband Doug of Seneca
Rhonda Hargenrader and her husband Luke of Taylorsville, NC
11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren,
One sister
Nancy Henton of Camino Island, WA.
And several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Byron Bullers and by a sister Margaret “Peg” O’Neil
Friends will be received from 12 noon- 1:00 P.M. Monday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Hough of the Watson Run Church of God, Presiding.
Interment will be in Brandon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cranberry Food Pantry.
