Ann E. (Schmader) Switzer

Ann E. Switzer, 79, of Oil City, PA., passed away Tuesday July 25, 2023 at UPMC-Transitional Care Unit in Seneca after an extended illness.

                Born Sept. 13, 1943 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. & Rosebelle Unger Schmader.

Ann graduated from Oil City High School.

On Aug. 1, 1961 she married Richard A. Switzer and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2016.

A homemaker, Ann enjoyed horses and loved her dogs.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and had belonged to the Fryburg Boots and Saddle Club,

and had also belonged to the Venango County  ATV Club.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

Ann is survived by her three sons

Richard Switzer Jr. & his wife Christy of Kennerdell

Michael A. Switzer Sr. of Fertigs

James J. Switzer & his wife Tracy of Freemont, OH.

And the following grandchildren

Ricahrd A. Switzer III & his wife Lindsey

Chad Switzer (Brandy)

Angelique Salindong and her husband Mark

Michael Switzer Jr.

Jessica Smith(Mike)

Cody Nedzelski & his wife Lauren

Cory Nedzelski

Collin Switzer

Kailey Switzer

And many great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by two brothers Terry Schmader and Jack Schmader

Friends will be received from 10-12 Noon Saturday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Fertigs Cemetery.
