Barbara J. (Fento) Pleger

Barbara J. Pleger, 83, formerly of Nagel Road Henry's Bend, died at 6:35 P.M. Tuesday Sept. 10, 2019 after a period of declining health.

Born June 4, 1936 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Fento and Catherine G. Rehberg Fento.

Barb was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She was married to Norman H. Pleger on Dec. 7, 1972 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1998.

A homemaker, Barb had worked at the Thrift/Bread Store on Riverside Drive for many years.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, baking, crafting and participating in Henry’s Bend community events. Prior to her passing, she was also known as one of the longest term residents of Henry’s Bend. 

She is survived by a son, Norman Pleger and his wife Angela of Resaca, GA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Fento.

Interment will take place at Heckathorn Cemetery.
