Carolyn A. (Schell) Judy

Carolyn A. Judy, 71, of Oil City, PA., passed away  Saturday June 27, 2026 at her home following an extended illness.

            Born Dec. 7, 1954 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late William J.  and Ida Ruth Graham Schell.

Carolyn was a graduate of Venango Christian High School.

She married John F. Judy in 1974 in St. Stephens Church and he survives.

Carolyn had been an administrative assistant at the Christ Episcopal Church in Oil City for over 35 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of the card club, that didn’t play cards.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children

John Judy and his wife Emily of Conway, SC.

Heather Rivera and her husband Daniel of Cameron, NC.

Five grandchildren

Margaux, Vivian, Everett and Annabelle Judy

And Sarina Rivera.

She is also survived by two brothers

William J. Schell III and his wife Katie of Baden

Thomas Schell and his Linda of Oil City

And several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew William Schell

Friends will be received from 4-7P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church.

Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the UPMC-Hillman Cancer Center.
