David Staskiewicz Obituary

David M. Staskiewicz, 59, of Oil City, PA., passed away at his home on July 12, 2023.

Born Sept. 20, 1963 in Franklin, PA., he was the son of Mary Lou Gartner Hopkins and the late Bruce Staskiewicz.

David attended Titusville Schools and was a graduate of Clarion University.

David had worked for a number of years at Quaker State in the Accounting Dept., after Quaker State moved to TX., he worked several jobs and was currently working at Walmart in Cranberry.

David enjoyed cooking, going out to eat Chinese food, reminiscing during family gatherings, vintage children’s books, the Holiday’s and never missed watching It’s a Wonderful Life every year. He loved Christmas time and was always looking for the perfect Christmas gift to give everyone and was so excited when giving it to you. He would say “I didn’t have time to wrap this but I thought this was something you would like”. He was a true child at heart, loved laughter and embraced the simplicity in life. David will be sadly missed by his family and all that knew him.

He is survived by his mother of Erie, PA.

A brother Eric Staskiewicz and wife Wendy

an Aunt, Dianne Wright and companion Bill Gendron

nephews and niece, Jack Carone, Evan Staskiewicz and Zoe Staskiewicz

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Titusville.
