Donald E. Guth

Donald E. Guth, 90, of Oil City, PA., passed away Jan. 6, 2024 at his home.

Born October 1, 1933 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Ervin Joseph and Mary Katherine Dechant Guth.

Don was a graduate of Cranberry High School, class of 1952.

He was married on April 12, 1958 to the former Barbara Jean Rote and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2010.

Don was a carpenter and had worked for Max Strickland for many years.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Don was a very skilled craftsman and enjoyed making cabinets and stained glass.

He is survived by two children

David Guth & his wife Amy of Oil City

Susan Berkheimer & her husband Daniel of Centreville, VA

8 grandchildren

And 5 great grandchildren also survive.

Don is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
