Donald B. Morrison

Donald B. Morrison, 90, of 808 East Third St. Oil City, PA. died at 8:00 A.M. Tuesday December 2, 2008 after an extended illness.
- Born July 13, 1918 in Oil City, he was the son of the late Samuel and Francis Burbank Morrison.
- He was a graduate of Oil City High School.
Mr. Morrison was a professional truck driver and terminal manager. He worked for Crossett Trucking and Ellsworth Freight Lines.
He also was known for his volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and various Christmas fund raising events for many years.
- Don enjoyed hunting, walking in the woods, playing UNO, and teasing others at every opportunity.
- Don was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
He was married to Dorothy E. Alsbaugh on January 8, 1941 at a United Methodist Church in Michigan and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2008.
- Surviving are two sons
Tim Morrison and his wife Sue - - Venus and Zephyrhills FL.
Denny Morrison and his wife Sue - Dover, FL
seven grandchildren
11 great-grandchildren
Also surviving is a niece Carol Ann Bacigal - - Bellville, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by one brother
Harold Morrison
and one sister
Alfredene Tesmer
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and from 7-9 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Bruce K. Davis presiding.
Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Garden.
