Dorothy M. Weissert

Dorothy “Dottie” Weissert, age 74, of Oil City, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026 at home. 

Born on Feb. 2, 1952, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Don and Mary Weissert. 

She was employed as an upscale restaurant hostess in Illinois before moving to Oil City, where she worked for Visiting Nurses.  She loved her many dogs, enjoyed watching the wildlife out back, and planting vegetables and flowers. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Bill Walker and her brother, Eddy.  She is survived by her brother, Will and sisters, Rita and Margie.  There will be no viewing.
