Edward M. Wright, 74, of Oil City, PA., passed away at home unexpectedly on April 28, 2026.
Born June 24, 1951 , he was the son of the late James and Mary Lou Hilton Wright.
He was a graduate of Oil City High School.
Ed worked at Joy Mfg. for 42 years, he worked as a welder and later retired as a supervisor.
Ed was a man that had everyones back, an avid hunter, whitetail slaying machine, lover of pithole and the outdoors.
He was the hardest worker, an avid softball player, OC legend wrestler, man of his word, ruff and tuff as they come. Willing to throw down with anyone anytime. His words always were " They may get a lunch but I will get my sandwich"
He is survived by five children

There will be no viewing or visitation.
Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE WILL BE HELD AT HIS SON ED'S HOME AT 20 HORNE LANE ON MAY 3, 2026 STARTING AT 2PM
