Elaine F. (Saboski) Karns

 Elaine Karns at the age of 86 died after a series of health complications, on December 8, 2025 at Oil City Healthcare. She was born on November 30, 1939, at home, the daughter of Albert and Charlotte Saboski. Elaine graduated from Oil City High School, Class of 1957. Following graduation she married William E. Karns of Cherrytree. They celebrated 62 years of marriage on August 17, 2025. She provided a loving home for their three children. She also welcomed her three surviving grandchildren, Keith Tarr, Lukas Tarr and Zack Tarr, along with her step-grandchildren Patrick and Zach Vromen. She was blessed to meet her surviving four great grandchildren; Swayze, Amelia, Mannix, and Teton. She enjoyed swinging on the front porch, playing solitaire, reading and mastering puzzles. She spent countless hours at horse shows and the fair supporting her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Henrietta Roebuck, Lois Eddy, Ardelle Sawatski, Mike Saboski, Marilyn Saboski, Jackie Karns, and Burt Saboski. Surviving in addition to her husband Bill are their three children Kolleen Karns-Tarr and her husband Patrick, Michelle Karns, and Scott Karns, She is survived by her siblings Jaye Wilson and Jean Vogan. Per her request, there will not be any services at this time. A remembrance ceremony will be held at a later date for family and close friends. Any cards of sympathy can be sent to William Karns and family. She will be laid to rest at Cherrytree Cemetery among two of her sisters.
