Gertrude M. Adelsperger, 85, of Seneca, PA., passed peacefully Wednesday Nov. 19, 2025.
She was born June 23, 1940 in Lucinda, PA., and graduated from Cranberry High School in 1957.
Gert married Frank C. “Buzz” Adelsperger on Dec. 16, 1961 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2020.
Gert was employed at Oil City National Bank before becoming a homemaker after marriage.
She was a charter and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marcellus Vol. Fire Dept., Marcellus, NY.
Gert attended First Presbyterian Church in Oil City while living here and had attended the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church.
She was an active member of the Oil City Area Meals on Wheels.
Gert enjoyed cleaning, cooking, baking and camping.
She also enjoyed cats, (especially Jellybean), playing cards, celebrating the holidays with family, and volunteering for the Oil City Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by three children,

Two sons
Stuart C. Adelsperger and his wife Michelle of Greensburg, PA.
Eric J. Adelsperger and his wife Lisa of Elbridge, NY.
Granddaughters
Nicole Violino of North Tonawanda, NY
Roxanne Griffin and her husband Matthew of Conesus, NY.
Great Grandsons
Sawyer and Wyatt Griffin
Evan and Luca Violino.
She is also survived by sisters
Rosie Rhoades of Venus,
Leona Culp of West Middlesex, PA.

Private visitation and funeral services were held.
Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Venango County Humane Society.
