Gloria J. Stevens, 76, of Oil City, PA., passed away on Saturday May 2, 2026 after a brief illness.
Born Sept. 16, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA., she was the daughter of the late William and Esther Schmid DeHaven.
Gloria graduated from Bethel Park High School and Slippery Rock University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Speech.
She was employed as a teacher for many years.
On Aug 6, 1971 she married Richard K. “Fuzz” Stevens and he survives.
Gloria was a member of St. Joseph Church.
She is survived by her son
Matthew Stevens and his wife Krista of Oil City
Two grandchildren
Blake and Bailey Stevens
One sister
Nancy Marchesi and her husband Randy of Washington, PA.
And a brother
William DeHaven and his wife Christine of Culloden, WV.
As well as several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a sister Lorraine Clement.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1P.M. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church with Fr. Shane Mathew, presiding.
Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Belles Lettres Club Scholarship Fund, Oil City Library or to the VNA Foundation of Venango County.
