Helen M. (Eichner) Best

Helen M. Best, 86, of Seneca, PA., passed away Thursday Aug. 8, 2024 at her home .

          Born March 20, 1938 in Oil City, PA., she was daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Hargenrader Eichner.

Helen was a graduate of Cranberry High School.

She was married on July 3, 1969 to Richard W. Best and he preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2020.

Helen had worked many years as a secretary for Daugherty Brothers Real Estate and for Joy Manufacturing.

She had been a member of St. Stephen’s Church and enjoyed reading and sewing.

She is survived by four children

Michael Zimmermann of New Holland

James Zimmermann & his wife Diane of Barberton, OH

Patrick Best of Emlenton

Rick Best and his wife Lisa of New Holland

Joyce Knox of Knox

She is also survived by eight grandchildren

Michael, Zachariah, Gabriel Cassidy, Elaine

Nathan, Robert, Nicole

And a great grandchildren Evelyn, Veronica, Marcelene, Opal, Lennix, Ellie and Sophia

She is also survived by a brother Thomas Eichner and his wife Marilyn of Rockville, MD

And several nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

The  Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
