Howard Russell Wise Jr.

Howard Russell (Rusty) Wise Jr., 53, of Oil City died peacefully at home following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born Nov. 11, 1965 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of Judith L. Waite Wise and the late Howard R. Wise.

Howard had previously worked at Valley Dairy, and most recently as a caretaker.

He is survived by his mother of Oil City and the following brothers and sisters

Tracy Kimes of Oil City

Ramie Wise of Oil City

four brothers

Brent, Denton, Todd and Quince Wise all of Oil City

and the following nieces and nephews

Casandra Mason (Ken), Kayla Hutchison and Ripley Haugh

Tasha, Tiffany and Trista Wise, and Dakota Wise and Weller Haugh

Great nieces and nephews Tasia & Malaya Cochran, Isabella Hutchison and Evan Mason, Ty and Austin Mason

as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and six step daughters.

He was preceded in death by his father and his long time companion Violet Brown.

The family would like to thank his good friend Jerry Bosley who sat with him during his illness and his hospice nurse Greg Hazlett.

There will be no visitation.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

The Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory , 116 Bissell Ave. Oil City, PA. is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
