James A. Snyder III

James A. Snyder III, 57, of Oil City, PA., passed away Dec.4 , 2025 .

            Born in Oil City, PA., on July 2, 1968, he was the son of the late James A. Snyder II and Annie Swartzfager.

James was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He had been employed by Franklin Steel .

James enjoyed fishing, and being near the river.

He loved to sing, dance and listen to music, and hang out with friends.

He also enjoyed antiquing.

Survived by his nieces and nephews

Jessica Steetle of Butler, PA.

Matthew Swartzfager and his wife Jessica of Franklin

Amanda Swartzfager of Rouseville.

And good friend Toby Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved sister and best friend Sherri Steetle , close friends Clay Geib and Scott Steetle, who also passed this year.
