Jay F. Gold

Jay F. Gold, 66, of Oil City, PA., passed away Sunday Dec. 14, 2025 at his home.

            Born Nov. 18, 1959 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Jack E. Gold and Alice Berlin Gold.

Jay was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He started working for Electralloy right out of high school as a bricklayer and moved into several positions, last being a slide gate operator. He retired after 44 years of service with the company.

Jay was an avid fisherman, loved Rock music and attending concerts.

Most of all he loved his grandchildren, and spending time with them.

Jay is survived by one daughter

Chanelle and her husband Mark McClelland Jr. of Oil City

Two grandchildren

Urijah Anthony McClelland

One sister

Sandy Mamott of McKean

One brother

Jack Gold and his wife Ann of Oil City

A nephew

Brian Copley and his wife Holly

And their children

Joshua, Alex and Dakota

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Gold and a brother-in-law Raymond Mamott

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
