Joan M. (Smith) Evans

Joan M. Evans, 76, of Oil City, PA., passed away Wednesday Oct. 9, 2024 at the Collins House in Franklin, PA., after an extended illness.

            Born July 1, 1948 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Floyd & Rose Bakowski Smith.

Joan was married on June 10, 1974 to Robert E. Evans and he survives.

Joan had worked at the Oil City Glass Plant and had worked  at the Oil City McDonalds for many years.

She enjoyed going to Bingo.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children

Edward Evans and his wife Angie of Grove City

Victoria Confer of Erie

Three grandchildren

Sarah, Bailey and Ashley

She is also survived by one sister

Donna Reagle

And one brother

Dallas Smith

And was preceded in death by several siblings.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens
