John C. Hogue

John C. Hogue, 60, of Oil City, PA., passed away Thursday Sept. 11, 2025 at his home following a brief illness.

            Born July 7, 1965 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Carl M. Hogue Jr. and Barbara Schneider Hogue.

John was a graduate of Venango Christian High School.

He was married on July 15, 1994 to the former Andrea M. Krepp and she survives.

John had worked for Hegedus Aluminum, Franklin Bronze and most recently as a deliveryman for Hovis Auto.

He was a handy man, and enjoyed hunting and golfing. He also enjoyed going to camp at Oleopolis and floating down the river.

He was a member of the Oil City Eagles Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons

Elliot Hogue of Oil City

John Hogue and his wife Amber of Meadville

Richard Kimes and his wife Danielle of Oil City

He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters.

Cathy Wygant and her husband Ron of Conneaut Lake

Mary Rita Copley of Oil City

Dan Hogue  of Rockland

Peggy Letizio and her husband Robert of San Antonio, TX

Patty Scurry and her husband Mike of Oil City

Eric Hogue and his wife Melissa of Oil City.

As well as many nieces nephews and cousins.
