John Alan Willams was born to John And Clara Williams on January 24, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. He was preceded in transition from this life by both parents and his sisters, Beverly and Jacqui.
He graduated from Cass Technical High School in 1968 and attended the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Architecture & City Planning where he became a brother in the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
John had a brilliant mind and for a price frequently did difficult math assignments for his friends. He loved sports, especially basketball. He also reveled in debating the issues of the day with anyone who challenged his unique way of thinking. He frustrated many opponents in chess with his clever strategies making it nearly impossible to ever best him in a game.
He was a draftsman for years before ultimately settling down in Oil City and maintaining a technology career. Throughout his life, he maintained his passion for spirited debate but also was a pet lover having hosted both cats and dogs. John also enjoyed tinkering about the house with renovations and yard work.
He became the proud father of Jason Alexander Williams in 1971 and later in 1976 his precious daughter Brandi Khaile Camille (neé Pinkston) was born.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Carol and her daughters Erin and Amy and extended family, children Jason (Erica) and Brandi (Daymon Sr.), grandchildren Daymon Keith II 24, Naomi Kyan 17, Jason Scott 13, Joi Kamryn & Tori Kyle 12, his remaining siblings Bernard, Keith, Rubin, Duane, David, Marsha, Zelphia, Kendrick, and Johnathan, his Omega fraternity brothers, and other family and friends.
Rest in eternal peace.
