Joseph Patrick Kachik, age 57, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025.
A man known for his steady nature, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family, Joe will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Born on December 28, 1967, Joe had a quiet strength that made those around him feel at ease. He had a passion for working on cars and was always up for a project—whether it was in the garage, around the house, or lending a hand to someone in need.
Joe found joy in the simple things and never hesitated to offer his time and talents to others.
Above all, Joe was a family man. He was the proud father of Branton Kachik, Julie Kachik, and Joey Kachik—each of whom he loved deeply and supported wholeheartedly. His children were the greatest pride of his life, and he remained a constant source of encouragement and love. He also has one granddaughter Haisley.
Joe joins his loving mother, Pat Schiffer, and joins his father, Albert Kachik, and step mother Diane Kachik in eternal rest.
He also leaves behind his brothers, Matt, Dan, and John Kachik, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughs, and strong family bonds, as well as his sisters Amy Hosack and Susan Krumm Hedden.
Those who knew Joe will remember him as someone who never rushed, never raised his voice, and never turned away when someone needed help.
His calm and grounded spirit was a gift to all who crossed his path.
A private family gathering will be held to honor Joe’s life and legacy.
Though he is gone, the love Joe gave and the steady presence he brought into this world will live on forever.
Memorials may be made to the Reinsel Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
The Reinsel Funeral Home was in charge of his arrangements.
