Josephine Catherine (Toriski) Glass

Josephine Catherine Glass, 98, formerly of Oil City, passed away Tuesday August 21, 2018 at The Caring Place in Franklin.

She was born in Titusville and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kolibar Toriski.

Josephine worked  at the Silk Mill. 

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.

She married  Joseph Glass on Feb. 12, 1944  at St. Titus Church in Titusville and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1976

Surviving are 5 children; Rita Lynch and her husband Jerry of Rockland, Mary Jo Glass of Oil City, Suzanne Myers & her husband Tom of Reno, Joseph Glass of Pittsburgh, and Melanie Barr & her husband Bob of Franklin.

She is also survived by her grandchildren

Christopher Myers, Hilary Mitchell & her husband Robert, Kiersten Dunn, Meghan Singleton & her husband Brad and Matthew Dunn

5 great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to  her parents, she is proceeded in death by siblings; Mary Womer, Ann Michailov, John Toriski, Marg Czachta, Helen Nelson, and George Toriski.

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

The Reinsel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Services will be private.
