Julia A. Sherlock, 83, of Oil City, PA., passed away peacefully Thursday March 20, 2025 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehab.
Born August 17, 1941 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Francis M. Elder and Julia E. Higley Elder.
Julia was a graduate of Oil City High School.
She was married on July 27, 1963 in the Oil City Christian and Missionary Alliance to Martin J. Sherlock Sr., and he survives.
A homemaker, Julia was a lifelong resident of Oil City.

Cindi L. Rodgers and her husband Samuel of Oil City,
Scott R. Sherlock and his wife Melissa of Pensacola, FL.,
Julie M. Thompson and her husband Malcolm of Quincy, FL.,
Jerry L. Sherlock and husband Rich Tomlinson of Ansonia, CT
Eric J. Sherlock and wife Susan Sherlock of Pittsburgh
Garry F. Sherlock and his wife Adrienne Sherlock of MT. Joy, PA.
And the following grandchildren

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary J. Sherlock and by the following brothers and sisters
Mary Warner, Ruth Carnes, John Amsdell, Winifred Radabaugh, Harry Amsdell and Eleanor Dehner
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Interment will be in Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
