Kandase J. O'Brien

Kandase J. O’Brien, 74, of Henry’s Bend, PA. passed away Friday July 19, 2024 at the Titusville Hospital.

            Born July 28, 1949 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lois Joan Fornof Oakes.

She was a graduate of Cranberry High School.

Kandase had worked at Shanks Restaurant in Reno for many years as a waitress and was a homemaker.

            She married John C. O’Brien and he survives.

Kandy was a member of the Fryburg Sportsmans Club.

 She enjoyed walking and spending time with her grandchildren, who were most special to her.

She also enjoyed the companionship of her dog Danny.

In addition to her husband , she is survived by two children.

She is also survived by two sisters

Jill Montgomery & her husband Jerry of Oil City

Becky Miller & her husband Jimmy of Coal Hill

As well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Debbie Oakes and a brother David Oakes.

Friends will be received from 1:00P.M.-2:00P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mark Elliston, Presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
